Long and lean Jersey girl Kerry Bishé‘s halting good looks will have you catching fire in your pants. Born in New Zealand but raised in New Jersey, Kerry studied at Northwestern before making her mark on the theater stage, dominating the Shakespeare scene in plays like “Romeo and Juliet.” After breaking onto the big and small screens with bit roles in the Sex and the City (2008) movie and episodes of Life on Mars and Royal Pains, Kerry landed what looked like it would be her star making performance: new resident Lucy Bennett on Scrubs. The plan was for Lucy to take over for the narrator role from J.D., but longtime fans of the show revolted at this ninth season change, declaring “no, we don’t want no new Scrubs“, vocally expressing their displeasure at the narrator switch, and not letting the show see a tenth season with this new class of doctors. Kerry didn’t let the backlash get her down though, instead she gave us a bunch of nice looks at her in a pink bikini in Nice Guy Johnny (2010), starred in the Kevin Smith political horror thriller Red State (2011), and joined the cast of the “Best Picture” Oscar winner Argo (2012). But Kerry’s career really blew up when she landed the role of the hesitant wife of Gordon Clark, Donna on AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire. At one point we see her changing her top from the reflection of a mirror, but since we only see her bare back we never get enough to really play with our Texas instruments. We don’t get any public nudity in Public Morals (2015) when Kerry lies in bed with a man in a bra only. before Kerry played another morally questionable character: the wife on an American banker involved with the cartels in Narcos. As the radio evangelist Sister Molly Finnister, Kerry makes out with a man while topless under a blanket, but doesn’t give us any more looks at her copper boppers on Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.
